What it is

What do Fusial's integrations actually do?

Fusial's integrations connect contract work to the systems where revenue already happens — HubSpot and Slack today, with Salesforce coming soon — so a contract's status stays in sync without anyone copying it by hand.

Contract status maps to the HubSpot deal.

You map each Fusial contract status to a HubSpot deal stage once. From then on, every status change syncs two-way — Fusial updates the deal when a contract moves, and reads stage changes back from HubSpot.

Two-way sync between Fusial contracts and Salesforce opportunities is on the way — contract status to opportunity stage, with key terms written back to the record.

When Fusial reads a contract's terms, it writes them to custom HubSpot deal properties — governing law, term length, payment terms, deal amount, and effective date — so your team can report on them without opening the contract.

Comparison

Manual vs. bolt-on vs. native integrations

A side-by-side look at the three ways contract data moves between your tools, and why native integrations are the only ones that stay in sync without someone babysitting them.

How to evaluate contract management integrations

Six questions to ask before you trust an integration with the contracts and customer records your business runs on.

Does it sync both ways, or just push notifications?

A notification is not an integration. The question is whether contract status flows back into the system of record — so an executed deal shows as executed in your CRM automatically. One-way alerts still leave someone retyping the outcome.

Is the sync real time, or on a schedule?

Middleware that polls every fifteen minutes means your CRM is wrong for fifteen minutes. Native contract integrations update the moment a contract is sent, signed, or amended, so nobody makes a call on stale data.

How long does it take to connect?

Real integrations connect in a few clicks with OAuth, not a multi-week services engagement. If standing up your CRM or Slack connection needs a solutions consultant, the integration is doing the vendor a favor, not you.

Is it included, or one more bill?

Connectors that cost extra — a paid CRM sync here, a per-task automation fee there — quietly turn “integrated” into a stack of invoices. Fusial includes its HubSpot sync and Slack notifications in the $150 seat, so connecting your tools never adds a line item.

Who maintains the connection when a field changes?

Hand-built Zaps break silently the day someone renames a field, and you find out when a deal slips. Native integrations are maintained by the vendor, versioned, and monitored — the upkeep is their job, not a ticket in your backlog.

Is your contract data safe in transit?

Integrations move your most sensitive documents between systems, so look for encryption in transit and at rest, scoped OAuth permissions, and the ability to revoke any connection instantly. You should be able to see exactly what each integration can read and write.

Case study

How Cal.com stopped juggling tools for every contract

Cal.com's contracts were scattered across email, Slack, and their CRM. Fusial put them in one place — and syncs status back to the deal, so revenue still sees it where they work.

Customer story · Cal.com
“Our contracts used to be scattered across emails, Slack, and Salesforce, so we ended up using multiple tools just to manage the chaos. But because Fusial keeps everything in one place, we're not scrambling to fetch stuff from different software for a single contract anymore.”

FAQ

Fusial integrations, answered

What integrations does Fusial support?

Fusial connects to HubSpot for two-way CRM sync and Slack for notifications. Those are the integrations live today, with a Salesforce integration coming soon.

Does Fusial integrate with Salesforce?

A Salesforce integration is coming soon. It will sync contract status with your Salesforce opportunities both directions and write key terms back to the opportunity record, the same way the HubSpot integration works today. HubSpot and Slack are the integrations live now.

How does the HubSpot integration keep contract status in sync?

When a contract moves — in review, out for signature, signed — Fusial updates the matching HubSpot deal's stage, and it reads stage changes back from HubSpot too. It also writes key terms to custom deal properties and logs a note for each contract event. See the HubSpot guide for the full setup.

Does the Slack integration support approvals, or just alerts?

Slack is notification-only today. Fusial posts a message when a contract is redlined, assigned, commented on, signed, or nearing an SLA — each with a link to open it in Fusial. The approvals and actions themselves happen in Fusial, not in Slack.

How long does it take to set up an integration?

HubSpot and Slack each connect in a few clicks through OAuth — authorize the app and you're done.

Is my contract data secure when it connects to other tools?

Yes. The HubSpot and Slack connections use scoped OAuth permissions you can review and revoke at any time, and contract data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your contracts are never used to train shared models.

What happens to the HubSpot integration if a field changes?

Fusial maintains and versions the HubSpot integration and auto-creates the custom deal properties it needs on connect, so it doesn't break silently the way a hand-built Zap does when someone renames a field.
