The wrong person got the signing request, or the right person left — it happens after you've already hit send. Instead of voiding the whole request and rebuilding it, you can now replace a single signer in place.
- Change a signer mid-flight — on a request that's already been sent (or partially signed), swap out anyone who hasn't signed yet for a new name and email
- Old link stops working — the replaced signer's link is retired immediately and a fresh, unique link goes out to the new signer, so the request can't be completed by the wrong person
- Everyone else is untouched — signatures already collected stay valid and the remaining signers keep their place in line
- Fully audited — every swap is recorded as Changed a signer in the contract's activity, so there's a clean trail of who was changed and when
Signers who have already signed can't be replaced — their signature stands.
